Hello, I'm Emma.

​Modern life can be a struggle for all of us times, leaving us feeling unheard, anxious, sad, angry and hopeless. If these feelings are not spoken about and processed, our mental health can be negatively impacted.
First and foremost, I am here to offer you a safe confidential space and to listen. without judgement. 
Our emotions are responses to our experiences and my role is to help you to unpick these thoughts and feelings and decide which ones benefit you and which you should let go of.   

In addition to adults, I work with young people aged 12+ . I have 19 years experience working with teenagers and young people, both in secondary school settings and within the care system.  I am passionate about bringing this experience into the counselling room,  offering younger clients a safe place to talk.

 My foundation is in Transactional Analysis, but I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches so that our work together feels personal, flexible, and shaped around what you need most. My aim is for you to feel empowered, valued, and accompanied throughout your counselling journey. I will tailor my work,  using appropriate techniques to suit the individual.

For your peace of mind, I hold professional insurance and an enhanced  DBS which can be viewed on request.

Because counselling is such an important investment, I offer an initial 30 minute consultation at no cost,
allowing the client to make an informed decision before beginning paid counselling sessions.
